Spanish property fraud

A town council in the Marabella region of Spain has been dissolved among rumors of property fraud. Property fraud is thankfully rare, and the Spanish government is keen to take a hard line on such fraud. Up to 23 individuals have been arrested, including the mayor and millions of euros have been seized.

It will be intersting to see how this one turns out and whether it will effect the spanish propety market. The bbc has more on the story here.

Learning Spanish

I have found a very useful tool at the http://www.bbc.co.uk/langauges/voices/spain
They provide audio files to help you learn spanish language.
This is a great way to learn the language, as this helps greatly with the pronouncing of the words and accent.

I would recommend the BBC site as it is a respected and trusted site.

Welcome to my Spanish Properties blog

Welcome to your spanish dreams.

Spain is becoming the most popular destination for visitors from the rest of europe.

The warm climate and vast amount of uninhabited land, has made it a magnet for other europeans to come to visit or retire in spain.
